The Level 3 – Award in Confined Space – Emergency
Rescue is an advanced qualification designed for individuals responsible for conducting
or managing rescue operations in confined spaces. This course provides
participants with specialized knowledge and hands-on skills to plan and execute
safe, effective rescues in high-risk, restricted environments. Emphasis is
placed on emergency preparedness, rescue techniques, casualty handling, and the
use of specialist rescue equipment. Learners will also develop situational
assessment abilities, teamwork, and decision-making skills to manage confined
space emergencies with confidence and precision.
This qualification is assessed through a combination of practical evaluations and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Learners must achieve the required passing score in both components to be awarded the certification.
The recommended duration for this qualification is 5 days. However, the course length may be extended to accommodate additional learning requirements if necessary, but it cannot be shortened.
