The Specialist Level
in Authorized Gas Tester course is an advanced certification aimed at

health and safety of workers. This program builds on foundational gas testing
knowledge and enhances the participants' competence in evaluating atmospheric

actions when hazardous conditions are detected. Participants will gain in-depth
skills in identifying dangerous gases, using specialized gas detection
equipment, interpreting results, and responding to gas-related emergencies. The
program is tailored to professionals in industries such as oil & gas,
petrochemical, mining, and construction, where working in confined spaces or
hazardous atmospheres is common. This qualification ensures that gas testing is

This qualification is
assessed through practical demonstrations, scenario-based assignments, and Multiple-Choice
Questions (MCQs). Participants must meet the required passing score in all
assessment areas to earn certification.
The recommended course duration is 7 days. This may be extended to accommodate additional learning needs but cannot be shortened due to the advanced nature of the training.
